This Breezeway Bubbles sponsored course is designed for divers that either want to improve on their current photography or take the plunge with their first underwater camera. It will cover basic principles that are applicable to both still and video. There will be an emphasis on how to shoot more satisfying images using the basic automatic settings and programs offered by modern products. The class will also include a discussion on the most popular equipment and on choosing cameras and accessories that meet the diver’s needs and budgets. There will also be a brief introduction to editing digital files. Following the two 3-hour class sessions there will be an opportunity for participants to try their cameras and cameras supplied by the sponsor in the pool and review their photos with the course instructor. Students also have the option of doing a second open water dive and earning the PADI Digital Underwater Photography specialty certification.
